Drum & Bass, Jungle and much more: step into a night of breakbeats, dubby half-step grooves and endless sub weight.
Adi-J and Gremlinz both started their journey into DnB back in the mid-90s, when what we now call Jungle was simply DnB. Over 30 years deep, they know exactly what keeps a crowd moving and heads bobbing.
Local power Øbsidian completes this lineup, bringing a mix of stumping rollers and Jungle; a set built to keep the floor moving till last call!
Hosting the night once again: Chris Inperspective. With over 30 years in the scene, from founding Inperspective Records to running London’s legendary Technicality nights. There is no one better to guide you through the night!
There is no DJ like Adi-J. Put her on the decks and the people will dance; relentlessly. On a night behind the turntables she brings a 1000 tracks and plays just 90 of them, but she’s not winging it. She’s flying on over 30 years of experience behind the decks. If you have been around in Drum and Bass since ’96 you have heard about her. She brings uncompromised versatility to every party, playing different styles for different ears each time. And her story is as unique as her selection.
She started out DJ’ing in 1996 in Tel Aviv – back when jungle was what we now know as drum and bass - quickly making a name for herself in Europe. If you we’re a DJ in Britain back in that time, you we’re playing in her hometown. Since moving to the Netherland in ’98 it has been nothing but love for the beating heart of the rave. She even graduated from the School of Audio Engineering there. Playing at festivals all over Europe from Glastonbury to Outlook or Rampage, she has seen them all.
The Amsterdam based force behind the wheels of steel still has that same traction as all those years ago, spinning heads and decks in 2024 with a drive like it’s still ’96. Like we mentioned – she is nothing short of a DJ who makes people dance; relentlessly. Now that’s Adi-J.
Toronto-based producer and DJ Gremlinz' journey into Drum & Bass began in the mid-90s when the raw energy and intricate rhythms of Jungle captivated him. Immersed in the culture, he quickly moved from collecting records to DJing and producing. After years of honing his craft, Gremlinz made his debut in 2004 with a track on Metalheadz’ MDZ04 LP, a significant milestone, especially considering his longstanding admiration for the label.
Since then, Gremlinz has released music on a range of respected labels including Architecture Recordings, Renegade Hardware, 31 Records, Cylon, Rupture, AMAR, and Paradox Music. His versatility is evident in his broad range of output, from breakbeat-heavy tracks to atmospheric, dubby half-step grooves—always pushing the boundaries of Drum & Bass while staying true to his roots.
As a DJ, Gremlinz brings a straightforward, no-frills approach to his sets, focusing on raw energy and subtle groove. His unique sound and style have earned him a loyal following worldwide, and his affiliation with Loxy & Ink’s HORSEMEN collective has further solidified his place among some of the genre's most forward-thinking artists.
