This is a first for us: A night for the gearheads, with only live sets on the bill. Atmospheric, deep techno, all night long. These artists from the East will carefully build tension over the course of hours.
Booster is a yearly recurring showcase festival that highlights artists from the East. For two full days they host showcases and conferences throughout Enschede.
Entry is included with a Booster Conference ticket.
Pine Float is a Dutch DJ and producer from Nijmegen, emerging as a fresh name in the techno scene with his dark, raw, and groovy rhythms. Infusing a high-energy sound, he draws inspiration from artists like Modem, Alarico, Phil Berg, Phara, and Mython. His style effortlessly blends driving rhythms, dark textures, tribal percussion and hypnotic grooves.
Originally performing under the alias PEYER (tech house), Pine Float’s true passion has always been techno. While he played major festivals like Solar, Paaspop, We Are Electric, and 7th Sunday, as well as internationally, under the PEYER moniker, Pine Float now channels his deep-rooted love for techno into a new chapter. As a fresh project, he is determined to make an impact with his raw, hypnotic energy and distinctive sound.
A lifelong drummer, having started at the age of five, Pine Float’s unique musicality is infused with a rhythmic intensity and percussive drive. His drumming background brings a groovy edge to his productions and live sets. Recently, he has taken his performances to the next level by incorporating live drumming on his Roland SPD-SX Pro, creating hybrid DJ sets that fuse live percussion with raw, driving techno. This approach sets him apart, adding an organic, rhythmic element that brings a dynamic energy to his performances.
Ree-koh is an emerging techno DJ and producer with a hypnotic, deep, and rhythmic sound. His DJ sets are characterized by his unique track selection, in which he effortlessly moves toward more dub, electro, and breaks-oriented styles.
In 2025, he was selected by Nieuwe Elektronische Waar for the NEW #19 compilation with his track ‘Rise Of The Phoenix’ – an energetic club track full of polyrhythmic elements and idiosyncratic sound design. With this, he confirms his talent and musical vision as a producer.
If you are part of the eastern Dutch underground, chances are you've crossed dancefloors with Sophia d’Rêve. As one of the co-founders of both NiCE and ANTIA, this creative powerhouse has been channeling her love for music and dancing into organizing events and raves for nearly two decades. Her involvement in nightlife covers anything from politics to photography, but all that time she would describe herself as Raver first (front left speaker!) and never thought about stepping into the booth. That is, until she fell head over heels for the Elektron Digitakt.
No set is ever the same and every set is a story: working live on two Digitakts, Sophia (Sevgi) brings a dynamic combination of hauntingly sweet melodies, groovy bass and brutal kicks that taste like they belong under the ground, between four walls in a dirty basement.
As a producer she holds that everything is a remix, where music and dance are a path to freedom. Drawing inspiration from a broad range of artists and genres across the musical spectrum, Sophia d'Rêve is able to create vibes in anything between 52 and 210 bpm but it is undeniable that part of her heart beats like techno. And that beat will be rolling through ANTIA's speakers in the deep end of the night.
Xeppo makes electronic music. He is a software programmer and uses samples he creates through live-coding. He extracts sounds from all types of synths. He goes out with his microphone to record and sample the world. He tinkers with his own instruments, both physical and digital.
The music is fast and chaotic, dark and sometimes cheerful. He has a short attention span, so there is a lot of variation. He loves to dance to cool electronic beats; he makes music that he himself would love to hear in the club.
