House rules

Our House Rules are designed to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of everyone in our physical and digital spaces. These rules apply to all individuals present at ANTIA, including guests, staff, artists, partners, and collaborators. No one is exempt.
Be mindful that this space is experienced differently by everyone. Your behaviour directly shapes others’ experiences. By entering ANTIA, you agree to respect and uphold these rules.
ANTIA reserves the right to refuse entry or remove individuals whose behaviour, condition, or presentation undermines the safety, dignity, or well-being of others. These rules exist to protect the space and the people within it.
- Door host has the final say
- A. Door hosts uphold ANTIA’s house rules and community values. Door hosts’ entry decisions are final and made to protect the safety of the space.
- B. Entry will be denied or revoked if you:
- Are under 18 or cannot present a valid ID
- Are visibly intoxicated or under the influence
- Display aggressive, disruptive, or threatening behaviour
- Wear clothing, symbols, slogans, or imagery that promote discrimination, extremist ideology, violence, hostility, or group-based intimidation
- Have a documented history of misconduct within ANTIA
- Are with a group larger than 4
- C. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances
- Carrying or using weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, blades, or harmful objects
- Bringing outside liquids into the venue
- D. Violation of these rules will result in removal and may lead to temporary or permanent bans.
- E. Entry will be paused if venue capacity is reached
- Everyone is welcome in ANTIA.
- A. ANTIA is maintaining a safe(r) space shaped by queer culture, lived experience, and community values. This means that queer people do not need to explain themselves, minimise their identity, or adjust their expression to feel safe here.
- B. We have zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, racism, religious bigotry, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, or any behaviour that targets people based on identity. If you enter this space, you are expected to uphold its values.
- C. Failure to comply will result in removal and may lead to temporary or permanent bans.
- Consent is mandatory and SEXY
- A. Consent is part of the culture at ANTIA. It allows desire, connection, and exploration to exist safely. It must be freely given, enthusiastic, and ongoing, whether you are flirting, dancing, or engaging physically.
- B. A clear yes is the ONLY yes.
- C. Be attentive to words, energy, and body language. If you are unsure, ask. If someone hesitates or shows any discomfort, the interaction stops. Mutual connection only exists where personal boundaries are respected
- Safety is a shared responsibility
- A. Safety at ANTIA is upheld collectively. If you witness behaviour that is unsafe, invasive, or harmful, you are expected to intervene if able or immediately inform a member of our team.
- B. An Awareness Team, including Floor Angels, is present throughout the night to provide support and de-escalation. If you feel unsafe, unwell, or overwhelmed, approach a Floor Angel, ask for an Angel Shot at the bar, or go to the awareness area.
- C. Instructions from staff, Floor Angels, or security must be followed. Failure to comply will result in removal from the venue.
- Behave responsibly
- A. We promote responsible and conscious participation in nightlife. Guests must remain in a condition that allows them to make informed decisions and respect the safety of others.
- B. Excessive intoxication will not be tolerated. Guests who are visibly intoxicated may be denied entry, refused service, or asked to leave.
- C. Fighting, aggression, harassment, or behaviour that threatens the safety of others will result in immediate removal.
- D. If someone appears unwell or overwhelmed, seek help. Our Awareness Team is present throughout the night
- E. All guests are expected to comply with ANTIA’s Code of Conduct.
- No photo/video allowed inside
- A. ANTIA maintains a strict no photo and no video policy throughout the venue. This applies to all areas of the club and includes phones, cameras, and any device capable of capturing images or video. Official photographers, when present, operate under strict anonymity guidelines.
- B. Phones will be stickered at the entrance to support this policy.
- C. Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal, and a minimum one-month ban will be imposed if it repeats again.
- No smoking and vaping allowed inside
- A. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas. Smoking or vaping inside the venue is strictly prohibited.
- B. If the fire alarm is triggered, costs will be imposed on the one responsible.
- Comply with our surveillance and legal obligations
- A. Surveillance: For your protection and ours, camera surveillance is in use in accordance with Dutch law.
- B. Legal compliance: All visitors must comply with Dutch law while on ANTIA premises. We are obligated to uphold the law and may involve first responders or cooperate with law enforcement authorities where necessary.
- Liability / Please pay attention
- A. ANTIA has lockers available to store your items, and we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended items within the venue or lockers.
- B. ANTIA uses strobe lighting, flashing lights, loud sound systems, and smoke machines, which may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, including photosensitive epilepsy. Guests are responsible for assessing their own health and comfort before entering and remaining in the venue.
- C. Where necessary, emergency services will be contacted
- D. ANTIA does not accept cash, card only.
